چکیده

In this article, we present a revised taxonomic circumscription of Aconitum subg. (Ranunculaceae) in Europe. total, the subgenus contains some 250 species with major center diversity Eastern Asia. Altogether 94 taxa (species and infraspecific taxa, including hybrids) occur Among them, 22 are native species, 28 nothospecies (including hybrid formulae). The research is based on former (since Linnaeus) recent diagnoses integrating herbarium field studies carried out Alps, Carpathians, Balkans, Spanish Sierra Nevada, Sudetes, Corsica. includes three sections Europe: diploid sect. Cammarum, tetraploid Aconitum, monospecific, allopolyploid Angustifolium. Additionally, triploid, hybridogenous nothosection Acomarum (sect. × Cammarum) presented. For each type citation, concise morphological description, variation hybridization, geographical distribution, iconography sources given. Also, key to determination all proposed system scrutinizes concepts gives base for further genus’ phylogeny biotechnology.

Phylogeny and reclassification of Aconitum subgenus Lycoctonum (Ranunculaceae)

Phylogenetic analyses were performed using multiple nuclear (ITS and ETS) and chloroplast regions (ndhF-trnL, psbA-trnH, psbD-trnT, and trnT-trnL) to test the monophyly of Aconitum subgen. Lycoctonum (Ranunculaceae) and reconstruct the phylogenetic relationships within the subgenus. The subgenus as currently circumscribed is revealed to be polyphyletic. To achieve its monophyly, sect. Galeata a...

Typification of Zapałowicz’s names in Aconitum section Aconitum

Hugo Zapałowicz described and named 27 taxa in Aconitum sect. Aconitum. Their names are typified here. Two of them (Aconitum berdaui, Aconitum bucovinense) are deemed correct for currently accepted species of the Carpathians, 24 are reduced to synonymy under five taxa, and for one no original material has been located. The correct place and exact date of their publication, which differs from th...

Characterization of 19 microsatellite loci in the clonal monkshood Aconitum kusnezoffii (Ranunculaceae)1

PREMISE OF THE STUDY Microsatellite loci were isolated and characterized from Aconitum kusnezoffii (Ranunculaceae) to estimate male and female reproductive success and evaluate the effects of clonal growth on sexual reproduction. METHODS AND RESULTS A genomic enrichment approach was used to develop microsatellite markers. In three investigated A. kusnezoffii populations, a total of 19 microsa...

The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Aconitum coreanum and Aconitum carmichaelii and comparative analysis with other Aconitum species

Aconitum species (belonging to the Ranunculaceae) are well known herbaceous medicinal ingredients and have great economic value in Asian countries. However, there are still limited genomic resources available for Aconitum species. In this study, we sequenced the chloroplast (cp) genomes of two Aconitum species, A. coreanum and A. carmichaelii, using the MiSeq platform. The two Aconitum chloropl...
